occupy at present to the Colonial

advance to the Military Authorities
the estimated value of the
vacated property, to be used in
the provision of a new site and
buildings for Military purposes.
There are, however, certain
points which have arisen in
the course of the examination of
the proposal in this office, to
which I would draw your attention.

In the first place, it
is not known whether the land to be
vacated by the War Department is
Crown Land originally lent to the
War Department for military
purposes, or whether it was
acquired by the War Department
by purchase.
